Feast of St. Thomas Aquinas!

Good afternoon everyone!
Today is the Feast of St. Thomas Aquinas, the patron of the Angelic Warfare Conraternity and our intercessor for the 40 Days for Love movement! The St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Campus Center is gearing up to celebrate the beginning of a new semester with its patron’s holiday, and already I am astounded at the requests we are receiving as we lead up to the second official 40 Days for Love campaign! We’ve just revamped our website and we’re working extensively on getting a real mailing list together (as seen @ www.40daysforlove.com) so please be patient if there are any glitches! I have some very exciting news though, and I believe it ties directly into our current mission in this fight for true LOVE!
WKU Hilltoppers for Life attended the 40th National March for Life in Washington, D.C. this past weekend, and during the SFLA National Conference (the largest pro-life student conference in the WORLD), we received Runner-up for the Group of the Year! And in conjunction with that award, Brendan O’Morchoe also attribute THIS work, the 40 Days for LOVE movement to the reception of our award! Fr. Frank Pavone won the Defender of Life Award shortly thereafter, and David Bereit himself of 40 Days for LIFE was there to give his own thoughts on the 40th Anniversary of Roe vs. Wade in the best ending pep rally we had ever experienced! To top it all off, as many of you are aware, Fr. James Brent, Director of the Angelic Warfare Confraternity endorsed 40 Days for Love in an official Confraternity email sent just yesterday, and the requests for joining this movement have been pouring in ever since! Together, with God’s abundant grace, we will truly turn the tide of sexual immorality and work to instill of culture of love and life among ALL people. THAT’s our mission, and over the course of this upcoming campaign, we will continue to develop exactly what that mission calls us to do! For now though, stay tuned for more updates as we approach the Lenten Season and join our brothers and sisters of 40 Days for LIFE in prayer with the second tier of God’s Plan.

Well, after receiving Fr. Brent’s email supporting 40 Days for Love, I forwarded it to all my friends. I’m here to “sign up,” but now I don’t see anywhere to sign up. Please send me a link to where I can sign up and connect with others in my area who are active against porn. Thank you!
Mary, I’ve got you signed up! This is still in development, as this is only our second campaign. We’ll try to get the email list more efficient in the future, but for now…bear with us! Thanks for your prayers, and we’ll keep you updated as we approach the beginning of Lent!
